Peter K. Scaturro

Peter Scaturro joined the Board in 2014.

Peter retired from Goldman Sachs in January 2009. He joined Goldman Sachs as a partner to oversee the Global Wealth Management Business immediately following the sale of U.S. Trust to Bank of America. He was a member of the firm-wide Goldman Sachs Business Practices Committee and served on the Investment Management Division Operating Committee.

Before joining Goldman Sachs, Peter was chief executive officer of U.S. Trust, a position he assumed in 2005.  While at U.S. Trust, Peter was a member of the Executive Committee of Charles Schwab.  He was personally hired by Chuck Schwab to turn around U.S. Trust, which had been acquired by Charles Schwab in 1999.  During his two year tenure as CEO, U.S. Trust’s earnings increased by 68%, and margins improved by over 50%.

From 1999 to 2004, he was the chief executive officer of the Citigroup Global Private Bank, responsible for the Private Bank’s 98 offices in 38 countries.  He was a member of Citigroup’s Management Committee from 2002 to 2004.

Peter resides in Bedford, New York.
